Old Whittington Gala -

Welcome to the Old Whittington Gala website. This website has been set up to let everyone know what is happening within Old Whittington and further afield in relation to the Gala.

The Gala is looking for a new sponsor for the 2012 event which is to be held on 30th June 2012. If anyone is interested in sponsoring the event, please email simon.kendrick@hotmail.co.uk

What's On

Gala at Chesterfield Christmas Market
The Gala will be having stalls at this years Chesterfield Christmas Market in the town centre. This will be held on Sunday 20 November 2011, 12 noon until 6pm. Come along and support your local community group. In addition, you can see the Christmas lights being turned on at 6pm.

Next Committee Meeting
The next Gala Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday 7 December 2011 starting at 7.30pm. This will take place at The Lane, Station Lane, Old Whittington S41 5LN.

Anyone who wishes to join the committee are welcome to attend this meeting.
2011 Gala Details
The 2011 Old Whittington Gala will take place on Saturday 25 June 2011 - 12 noon until 4pm. This will take place on the village green outside Swanwick Memorial Hall.
